Day 8 Plantdemic Update: Sunflower, Mustasa, Tomato and Bell Pepper

We wake up everyday excited to check out our plants. The most exciting to watch grow is the sunflower since it's our first time to finally sprout flower seeds. Out of the 5 seeds we planted we now have four seedlings and they all look healthy so far.

We planted mustasa seeds in three pots. The pot with two sprouts is looking good. One pot though has gone bad, it was probably not too sturdy.

We realized that the seedling in the tomato pot is probably not tomato. It looks more like mustasa! The seed probably came from the pods from the previous mustasa plant. LOL. I added a bit more tomato seeds. We're still hoping we get something from the tomato pot.

A nice revelation today was from the bell pepper pot. Bell pepper really takes time to sprout. It can be from two to three weeks. We saw something sprout by midday today. We got the seeds from the bell pepper we used last weekend for afritada. The fresher the seeds, the better!
