We moved back home in early November and had to give up our plants because we moved countries! We're now back home in Manila where the soil is richer and there's more space to garden! We got super busy with our transition and one of the first things we packed up was our tiny "balcony farm". We gave away our surviving plants and most of our gardening materials to friends. We just brought home our garden trunk and a few pots.

Moving countries is hard and we made it harder by also moving from our old home in Manila to a new home! The new home came with two gardens - a cute pocket garden and a side garden. It already had some plants which we were not familiar with and we promptly almost killed some hahaha. We'll go over each plant so we can share care tips.
To a split level house with more space! |
We have been in our new home for a month now. We focused our time on making sure the existing plants were cared for. The first thing we had to do was acquire two water hoses for the two gardens. We're currently trying the popular "As seen on TV magic hose". It's certainly lighter and easier to manage, but we learned it's not as perfect as it sounds. For now it's our favorite tool to water the plants and grass.
We have so much to share about our new journey. We also hope to learn from you our dear readers. Stay with us as we learn more about managing a larger garden!
